Kya Williams M.S., BCBA, LBA
Founder and Owner
Kya Williams is a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst working towards a PhD, in Human Behavior. She obtained her professional level certification in the Theory of Addiction and Compulsion Behavior from Capella University, Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, Baccalaureate in Social Sciences, and two Associate degrees in Early Childhood Development and Administration of Justice.
With over 12 years of experience, Kya has worked with children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental delays including Attention Deficit Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, and various other mental behavioural health disorders. She has provided Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) services in homes, crisis centers, foster care homes, schools, daycares, and other community settings across the United States. She had the pleasure of working with children in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Department as well as military families across the country and overseas while stationed in Germany. Kya has supervised several Registered Behavior Technicians and professionals working towards their BCBA. In recent years, she developed a professional training, to include, but not limited to Verbal Behavior, Professional Code of Ethics, etc. while collaborating to create a 40-hr RBT training program. She also attended several conferences in support of the progression and sciences of Applied Behavior Analysis while venturing towards opening this private practice, Ready To Learn ABA, LLC.
Jakya Bridges B.A.
Operations Director
Jakya Bridges practiced as a Registered Behavior Technician for a year while preparing to take on her Master's Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. She obtained her Baccalaureate in Sociology from Colorado State University and quickly connected with the founder to collaborate on opening this private practice, Ready to Learn ABA, LLC.
In recent years, Jakya has worked alongside elderly populations and convalescents, partnered with diverse professionals to facilitate events for the community's youth, and maintained therapeutic relationships with preschoolers in nearby counties. She has implemented Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) strategies in homes, clinical settings, and schools across Columbus, GA and Lee County, AL. She has connected with insurance companies, managed operational software, and modified company training while negotiating her position as a novel professional.
Audene S. A.A.S.
Accounts Manager/Human Resources Representative
Audene, popularly known as "Miss. Dee" has been working in accounting, bookkeeping, and Human Resource Management for over 25 years and finds joy in all things Excel. Having worked in various industries for companies small-to-large throughout her career, Audene is new to ABA and earnestly learning and broadening her understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis. She hopes to develop and implement processes that positively contribute to the growth and expansion of Ready To Learn ABA. In Dee's leisure time she takes pride in care taking for her mother with advancing Alzheimer's Disease, connecting with her granddaughters, and watching the Hallmark Channel.
Paulene A., A.A.S., RBT
Clinical Operations | Registered Behavior Technician
Paulene graduated from Columbus Technical College with Associates in Human Resource Management and is currently studying B.S. Sociology at Columbus State University with hopes to graduate in December 2023. She joined the Ready team in August 2020 without any background knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), but quickly fell in love with the field. Paulene proudly admits that from the moment she stepped into Ready To Learn ABA, she knew she'd found her passion and professional purpose. Eager to learn and grow with each presented opportunity, she joined the Administration Department and mastered the team's practice management software for data collection and training. Thankful to have the opportunity to work with a diverse team serving even more diverse families and learners, she hopes to continue to build upon the mission and vision of Ready To Learn ABA. In her leisure time, Paulene enjoys hanging out with her dog, working out at the gym, and serving/volunteering in the community through her church.
