Kya Williams M.S., BCBA, LBA
Founder and Owner
Kya Williams is a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst working towards a PhD, in Human Behavior. She obtained her professional level certification in the Theory of Addiction and Compulsion Behavior from Capella University, Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, Baccalaureate in Social Sciences, and two Associate degrees in Early Childhood Development and Administration of Justice.
With over 12 years of experience, Kya has worked with children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental delays including Attention Deficit Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, and various other mental behavioural health disorders. She has provided Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) services in homes, crisis centers, foster care homes, schools, daycares, and other community settings across the United States. She had the pleasure of working with children in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Department as well as military families across the country and overseas while stationed in Germany. Kya has supervised several Registered Behavior Technicians and professionals working towards their BCBA. In recent years, she developed a professional training, to include, but not limited to Verbal Behavior, Professional Code of Ethics, etc. while collaborating to create a 40-hr RBT training program. She also attended several conferences in support of the progression and sciences of Applied Behavior Analysis while venturing towards opening this private practice, Ready To Learn ABA, LLC.
Jakya Bridges B.A.
Jakya Bridges practiced as a Registered Behavior Technician for a year while preparing to take on her Master's Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. She obtained her Baccalaureate in Sociology from Colorado State University and quickly connected with the founder to collaborate on opening this private practice, Ready to Learn ABA, LLC.
In recent years, Jakya has worked alongside elderly populations and convalescents, partnered with diverse professionals to facilitate events for the community's youth, and maintained therapeutic relationships with preschoolers in nearby counties. She has implemented Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) strategies in homes, clinical settings, and schools across Columbus, GA and Lee County, AL. She has connected with insurance companies, managed operational software, and modified company training while negotiating her position as a novel professional.
Audene S. A.A.S.
Accounts Manager/Human Resources Representative
Audene, popularly known as "Miss. Dee" has been working in accounting, bookkeeping, and Human Resource Management for over 25 years and finds joy in all things Excel. Having worked in various industries for companies small-to-large throughout her career, Audene is new to ABA and earnestly learning and broadening her understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis. She hopes to develop and implement processes that positively contribute to the growth and expansion of Ready To Learn ABA. In Dee's leisure time she takes pride in care taking for her mother with advancing Alzheimer's Disease, connecting with her granddaughters, and watching the Hallmark Channel.
Paulene A. BT
Intake Specialist/Data Technician
Paulene is currently majoring in Human Resource Management with hopes to graduate in December 2021. She joined the Ready team in August 2020 without any background knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), but quickly fell in love with the field. Paulene proudly admits that from the moment she stepped into Ready To Learn ABA, she knew she'd found her passion and professional purpose. Eager to learn and grow with each presented opportunity, she joined the Administration Department and mastered the team's practice management software for data collection and training. Thankful to have the opportunity to work with a diverse team serving even more diverse families and learners, she hopes to continue to build upon the mission and vision of Ready To Learn ABA. In her leisure time, Paulene enjoys hanging out with her dog, working out at the gym, and serving/volunteering in the community through her church.
Katelyn D. B.S.
Quality Assurance Technician/Behavior Technician
Katelyn graduated from Columbus State University in the Spring of 2019 with a degree in Psychology. She plans to apply for graduate school to become a BCBA this upcoming fall! As a new technician, one thing Katelyn appreciates about Ready To Learn is our unique social programming. She enjoys engaging in leisure activities and fun events that cultivate meaningful relationships with her learners and coworkers. Apart from learning at Ready, Katelyn spends her free time fishing with her fiancé, relaxing in the pool with family, and shopping with friends.
Lakeitha W. B.S.
BCaBA Supervisee/Registered Behavior Technician
Lakeitha graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Clinical Psychology. She is currently attending University of West Florida, earning a Master of Art in Exceptional Student Education with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Lakeitha is actively pursuing her BCaBA certification with plans to progress towards becoming a BCBA.
In recent years, Lakeitha has worked in the mental health field, forensics, and the U.S. military with the objective of providing quality ABA services across settings to positively impact the life of each learner she encountered. Outside of her numerous goals to grow with the Ready Team, Lakeitha spends her leisure time reading, completing meaningful activities with her daughters, and creating self-care products for her loved ones.
Curtis E. B.S., RBT
Registered Behavior Technician
Curtis graduated from Columbus State University's Psychology Program in December 2019 and intends to become a practicing BCBA and licensed counselor. He assists in conducting research in a cognitive laboratory at Columbus State and works with professors in the department on various projects. He loves to read, write, and learn as much as he can about various subjects of interest, his current one being Applied Behavior Analysis. As a valued member of the Ready team, Curtis plans to apply his passion for research to enhance the learning experience of our learners, families, and growing team of lifelong helping professionals.
Jennifer E. M.A., RBT
Registered Behavior Technician
Jennifer has been working in the ABA field for nearly a year, providing behavioral services in the home-based, school-based, and clinical setting. She has over 10 years of experience working as a helping professional in social services serving diverse populations in the community. She obtained her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling at Liberty University and Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Troy University. While practicing as a RBT, Jennifer plans on obtaining her credentials to become a BCBA. Her goal as Ready team member is to help learners thrive and overcome their unique challenges along with expanding her capacity to remain consistently ready to learn and grow as an individual. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, ATV riding, shopping, and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects.
